About the Role
Brickley DeLong is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Summer Intern to join our Audit & Assurance team. This internship offers hands-on experience working with real clients, real engagements, and real professionals, not just busy work. You’ll gain practical exposure to the full audit process while developing technical, analytical, and professional skills that will set you up for a successful accounting career.
What You’ll Do
As an Audit Intern, you will assist with a variety of assurance engagements across multiple industries, including nonprofit organizations, school districts, municipalities, and privately held businesses.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with audit fieldwork and testing
- Preparing and organizing workpapers
- Performing basic substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Working with engagement teams to meet deadlines
- Learning audit software and firm methodology
